When I first pulled this ruff out of the bag I was underwhelmed. It had great reviews, and while it wasn't terrible, it was pretty flat and floppy and just not great, but honestly, pretty much what I had been expecting for the price.BUT! I decided that I would put a little time into, a lot of starch on it, and liberal application of a curling iron, and it turned into a totally awesome ruff that I can't wait to wear with my Elizabethan gown.Considering how much it costs to buy a ruff off etsy or such, this is well worth the price if you are willing to put a little effort in.First photo is before I did anything, last two after I starched and shaped it.
