    I was looking forward to adding this necklace to my jewelry collection to wear with a crocheted skirt of the same color; however, the small beads that made up most of the necklace had a faded look and were more greenish than the picture. The large abalone center of the necklace also emphasized tans and browns more than the picture and had no pink portion - as shown in the picture - to give a lift to its look.

    The necklace was well-made although I DID NOT like the simple button clasp and worried it would pull off after some usage.

    I returned the necklace and promptly received a refund. I do plan to try another abalone necklace made by this company.

    The beading is done with a clear acrylic type thread. This thread was not ended well or tucked in, which caused an uncomfortable feeling of being continuously stuck or poked. This necklace was pretty but returned due to the lack of care when it was made.
